Has the world gone insane?

You turn your television on. The news is on. World hunger, famine, war, death, destruction, weapons of mass destruction, abuse, neglect, violence. You ask yourself “what is going on?” has the world gone insane? You turn your television off, but you are so drawn to the drama that you have to watch. Maybe it is us who have lost track of sanity? Not me. I look at the television and realize, this is not a reality that has to be. We can change it, but we have to acknowledge it first. Don’t look the other way, deal with it.
