So I have always been a huge fan of 50 Cent, up until one day about four or five years ago. We were all backstage hanging out with David Banner, Obie Trice, FunkMaster Flex, and some other amazing people in St. Pete, FL at a concert / car show. We spent most of the day hanging out with the artists, the radio stations and the production crew, but also enjoyed the car show featuring Missy Elliott, Nelly, and FunkMaster Flex’s rides. Then this dope SUV pulls up with some really nice rims and bright HID’s with New York plates. I am not so naive to believe that 50 himself actually rode in the back of this thing for 1200 miles, but obviously someone did!! The dumb motherf**ker driving almost hit us, get’s out of the truck and tells us to back off, like it’s the president of the United States. He proceeds to walk around the truck like he’s looking for a bomb or something and then backs the truck up next to some tents that were set up around the backstage area for the talent. You could see 50 in the backseat of the truck and he sat there until they drove him up to the stage step about 200 feet away. Now I am super stoked, he was one of my favorites. Our passes gained us access to side stage so we took a moment to get some good stage shots which ended up being ruined by this 350 pound super gorilla I can only assume was one of his body guards. After all, if you have been shot as many times as fifty, you have to surround yourself with huge cave men looking guys who punch innocent fans in the face for getting too close, that’s exactly what happened to the guy next to us!! Apparently someone grabbed for the mic, so the bodyguard punched the nearest person to him, nowhere near the guy who actually did it. Fifty, being the character he is, throws the mic down, walks down the steps and leaves the concert nearly inciting a riot!! These people paid a lot of money to see him and he leaves after like two songs. Sorry 50, I think you lost a lot of fans that day!! FunkMaster Flex was left to clean up the mess!! He had to expedited the car show competition results, but by then most of the BS spilled out onto the streets. We took the back way out!!

“Hip-Hop has to last forever and it ain’t gonna last with you doing that superman bullsh*t man,” Ice-T said. “That sh*t is whack, trust me.” Pardon me while I bust out laughing!! Most teens are still listening to “Cop Killer”, right? Oh, that’s right, most weren’t even alive yet!!

“When I dissed you, there’s no ramifications you know,” he said. “You can’t hurt my career ’cause I’m caked out, there’s nothing you can do to hurt me”, he is quoted as saying. He apparently didn’t expect a response from Soulja Boy. Yeah, cause that’s how it works, you diss me, I sit back and eat Cheetos? Ice-T is lucky they didnt’ go gangster like like on Law and Order, oh wait, A Cop Show?

The Beef came about after Ice-T blamed Soulja Boy for being responsible for the death of hip-hop.

Soulja Boy then went on Youtube questioning Ice-T’s choice to be on a cop television show and challenged his “west coast” roots, but he is from New Jersey.

“This n*gga Ice-T old as f*ck!” Soulja Boy said as he laughed into his web cam. “This n*gga old enough to be my great grandfather. I Wikipedia‘ed this n*gga, he was born in 1958. [He] claims he’s from the West Coast, n*gga you were born in New Jersey, dawg. Who is Ice-T, dawg? How you gonna make a song called ["Cop Killer"] and 35 years later your ass playing the police on TV, ‘Law and Order’. This ain’t no beef.”

It appears that Soulja Boy has some heavy armor in his corner with Rap SuperStar, Kanye West coming to his  guard.

“Soulja boy is fresh as hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is supposed to be,” he wrote. “He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain’t hip-hop then what is? N*ggas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year-old kid, this is the golden age!!! Keep this sh*t fresh and original…. ain’t no f*ckin’ rules to this sh*t and that’s what real hip hop is to me.” Well put Kanye, spoken like a true rap legend.

In a post from TMZ.com, they reported that Nate Dogg was arrested this morning, only 3 months after accepting a guilty plea for battery and trespassing charges for allegedly kicking his girlfriend’s butt. Come on Nate, you gotta smack a women to feel like a thug?

According to TMZ, Nate Dogg (born Nathaniel Hale) was apprehended around 8:30 a.m. PT yesterday while pursuing his estranged wife on the 405 freeway in L.A. Authorities say the women phoned into 911 in a frantic call as she was driving, claiming the singer was making death threats against her and dangerously following her as she drove down the highway. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) stopped both vehicles, and after interviewing both parties, arrested Nate Dogg for making terrorist threats and driving with a suspended license.

Nate Dogg has been hooked up in the slamma! Good for you Dogg, get your sh*t straight and keep coming with good music, not BS like this!

For those of you who don’t know, Nate Dogg pleaded guilty on March 20 for the Battery and Trespassing charges, and the former Death Row artist was sentenced to three years of informal probation and ordered to complete a domestic violence/battery treatment program. He was originally charged with five misdemeanors, including aggravated trespass of a dwelling, battery, annoying telephone calls, dissuading a witness from reporting a crime and violating a protective order from a previous domestic violence incident.

Is this what our world comes to? Watching rappers kick the snot out of their girls so they can make music about it?
